Where is the time going?

Can’t believe it’s been so long since my last post! Time is really getting away from me! I can definitely see it when I look at my little girl, 6 going on 16 (as my wife would say).

We have some new stuff in the works, so keep your eyes open over the next couple of months…

A new website design is in progress, with a more continuous feel, if you have any suggestions on what you’d like to see, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Real Estate photography services will branch off into it’s on site, though it will still be linked to from here. I just feel with the amount of work I’m doing in that area it’s time for it to stand more on it’s own. Keep an eye out for the new website and Facebook page!

Also, It’s bridal show season! We had a great time at the Cheyenne Bridal Expo earlier this month and met some wonderful brides and grooms! Sounds like there are going to be a ton of fun weddings this year and I look forward to capturing some great memories at each of them! Right now there are two more shows on the books for February, in Laramie and Rock Springs. As soon as I have all the details I’ll be posting more information. I think there are usually a couple more in march but we haven’t heard anything concrete about them yet.

We have decided to switch album vendors! We found someone to provide a higher quality product that I am really happy with. We weren’t able to get new samples before the Cheyenne Bridal Expo, but we have them now. If you would like to see them, come see us at one of the upcoming shows, or give me a call or drop me an email and we can arrange a time for a bridal consultation and we can talk more intimately about your day and you can take a look at the amazing new samples.

Finally, a belated Happy New Year to everyone, and a sincere Thank You to all my friends and clients for making 2010 a wonderful year, without you I would not be able to do what I love and provide you with memories you can cherish. I look forward to getting to know everyone even better and making 2011 a truly fantastic year.

Dalton – Senior Session

Filed under: Photography - Keith @ 10:43 pm

Had a great session with Dalton a week ago. Of course about that time is when we had the drop in temperature and the +40mph winds! We still had a good time and were able to capture some great images!

Emily – The Bass Player

I had an awesome session with Emily on Thursday! We walked around downtown for a couple hours in and out of the allies and interesting doorways capturing photos as we went. I love that she had a Moonwalker shirt, just too cool! AND, she plays bass guitar! Below you’ll find the link to the full gallery along with a few of my favorites!

2010 Fall Mini Sessions

It is once again that time of year, temperatures are starting to drop and the leaves are starting to change! It’s a perfect time to replace that old family portrait on the wall and to prepare for those upcoming holiday cards. This year we’re trying something new and introducing Mini Sessions.

So, what are Mini Sessions? – Mini Sessions are shorter than our normal portrait sessions,  held at one of the many various outdoor locations around Cheyenne, such a park, downtown, or even at your own home. They are exactly twenty-five minutes in length and may be booked in a single or double session increments. Larger families, or those wanting more poses, may want to consider a double session.

Though October 15, our mini sessions will start with a $75 session fee and will include a complimentary set of 25 holiday cards. Availability is limited, so call 307-222-9588 to set up your appointment now!

Jenny and Matt – September 4th

Here’s a video with photos from Jenny and Matt’s Wedding! It was a beautiful day and you could tell everyone was really enjoying themselves. For me though, the moment that stole the evening was when Ms. D took the mic gave a little toast to her newlywed parents! Well… that and Dad really getting into the father-daughter dance and bustin’ some moves!

Stephanie and Kevin – August 23, 2010

I just created a new video from some of my favorite images from Stephanie and Kevin’s wedding. We did a “first look” to give the bride and groom a chance to see one another and relax by themselves before the ceremony started… well, with the exception of the videographers and I being there!

Jessica and Dean – August 14, 2010

Filed under: Photography - Keith @ 8:28 am

Here’s a video For Jessica and Dean’s wedding. It was a beautiful day in Rawlins, just enough wind to keep it from getting it too hot, perfect for an outdoor wedding. Jessica’s dad gave me a hard time about taking photos of him, which of course made me take more! A fun and intimate wedding that danced into the night!

Time to get this back on track!

Filed under: Photography - Keith @ 7:54 am

Hello everyone!, It’s been a crazy summer, and I haven’t been keeping up with the blog as I should. I’m working on remedying that though!
So to start with, I’d like to share a little video I created for my little girl’s first day of kindergarten!  Hope you enjoy it and be sure to check back often for updates! There is music to the video so you may want to turn your volume down!

Out of Town…

Filed under: Photography - Keith @ 9:40 pm

Getting ready to head out of town for a week, attending a photography workshop in Colorado. I look forward to meeting up with some friends and having fun and learning lots! When I get back I may be looking at trying some new ideas, so let me know if you’re interested in getting some portraits done!

I will have access to phone and e-mail so if you need anything between now and then drop me a line or send me a note. It may take a day or two for me to get back to you but I’ll get your messages.

Have a great week!

-Keith
