I had the pleasure of once again photographing the Asay boys, and this time mom got in on the photos too. These boys are just too cute and definitely fit the “boys will be boys” persona! They were more interested in looking around and having fun climbing and with all the creepy crawlies. Which is totally fine with me… let’s get the serious family photos and then let’s let the boys be themselves, those are often the most wonderful photos!
I’m working on building a High School Senior Representative program and should have the information compiled by the end of the month. Then through the end of July, we will be accepting applications from interested High School Seniors who would like to represent Keith Turbitt’s Shutter-Vision and promote my services to their friends and fellow classmates. Referred classmates could earn you free print credits, potentially making your senior session and prints completely free! There will also be bonuses for reaching certain goals, including cash and more!!
I will post when I have the information complete, but if you would like to be one of the first to receive the information, send an email to Info@Shutter-Vision.com with the subject “Senior Rep Info!” and ask to be added to the mailing list!
I’ve finally done it!!! I’ve got the blog caught up for the last few months!!!
Below you’ll find a list of posts I’ve added over the last couple of weeks.

My Wife and I had a wonderful time at the symphony ball this year. This was our second year setting up the photo sessions for them, we met a lot of new people this year as well as running into and photographing quite a few returning supporters of the Symphony.
As we did last year, 1/2 of every purchase was donated to the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra, this year we were able to donate a total of $400!! (more…)

I had a great time getting to know Ashley and photographing her portraits. Her whole family really got into it and her step-brother provided the motorcycle and her step-dad provided the car that we used. (more…)

I had a great time with Rachel, creating her senior portraits. She had a unique spunkiness and great sense of humor. (more…)

The Keiters actually made the arrangements to have the session at Dave Berry’s Horse Creek Ranch, a beautiful location about 35 miles NorthWest of Cheyenne on Horse Creek Road. We were pretty woried about the weather and as you can see, it snowed the night before, but it was a wonderful morning. Not as cold as you would of thought and luckily lacking that one thing we all love here in Wyoming… Wind!

The Wilson Family and I met up at Vedauwoo to catch the tail end of the Aspen trees in their golden fall colors. I was able to find a location that was sheltered enough from the wind that their leaves hadn’t yet been stripped from the branches.
It was actually a great location that was perfect for photos just before sunset. The kids were a bit rambunctious but who could blame them, all space to run around and all the rocks to climb. Sometimes you just have to let the kids be themselves, that really brings out their personalities. (more…)

I had a great engagement session with Erin and Justin. The weather played nice and it was an enjoyable afternoon. We met at the Botanic Gardens and just walked around, stopping wherever caught our eye. The Challenge with Cheyenne the Botanic Gardens is that it is a fairly popular place for photos. The key though is finding those new angles and staying open to what the current conditions offer. I definitely feel I accomplished that and provided them with some great photos. Of course it’s easy to do when you have such a great couple to work with! (more…)
