With the holidays and everything I’ve been slacking a bit in my blogging duties. We’ve had a great Thanksgiving, Christmas and New year and now it’s time to get back down to business and get caught up with everything.
This is a session I did right before Thanksgiving. She is one of the dance instructors at En Avant Dance Studio here in Cheyenne, and wanted to do some personal work. With all the effort and time they put into their craft, dancers rarely get the chance for some quality images of them doing what they love, and Heather wanted to take the time to do just that! This was a great experience for the both of us as we both got to experiment with our crafts and do some things we normally don’t get to. I think we captured some wonderful and absolutely unique images…

I enjoyed it so much I had to go out and do it again! This time I was out the door, drove the 45 minutes to Ames Monument and got there just as the sun had broke the horizon. Originally I had intended to just go to Vedauwoo, but, for some reason I thought of some of the commercials I’ve seen of the last couple of years that had the monument in it and decided to make a slight detour that direction.

After Spending some time there, I then made my way to Vedauwoo to capture some of the beauty there. I only wish things had been a little more green. Oh well, I’ll use that as an excuse to get back out there later this Spring!!!

Got a chance to head out this evening and photograph some landscapes. Something I haven’t taken the time to do in a while.
