After providing her with family portraits just a month ago, Lisa asked for me to help out with a new business portrait. As an agent with #1 Properties she wanted something that had a professional look but was a bit more relaxed and fit her personality and image.

My Wife and I had a wonderful time at the symphony ball this year. This was our second year setting up the photo sessions for them, we met a lot of new people this year as well as running into and photographing quite a few returning supporters of the Symphony.
As we did last year, 1/2 of every purchase was donated to the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra, this year we were able to donate a total of $400!! (more…)

This amazing wedding was held in Estes Park, Colorado, one of my favorite places. Unfortunately I think we dragged the Wyoming Wind down with us which forced the ceremony to be held indoors. Afterwards…. fun was had by all with plenty of food, drink, and dancing! (more…)

When I first met Ashley she talked about how they loved Estes Park. Kyle took her there for a little hiking on one of their first dates, he eventually proposed there, I thought it was only fitting that we take the engagement session there. For the first part of the session we wandered up the Fall River Walk just behind the shops on the main street of Elk Horn Ave. For the second part of the Session we took a short drive up towards Longs Peak and stopped of at Lilly Lake, their favorite location and the spot of Kyle’s proposal. There we took a short walk around the lake and stopping for the occasional photo. (more…)

I had a great time getting to know Ashley and photographing her portraits. Her whole family really got into it and her step-brother provided the motorcycle and her step-dad provided the car that we used. (more…)
I just wanted to let everyone know that this weekend is the Symphony Ball for the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. It’s their big annual fundraising event that includes dinner, dancing, and silent auction.
This will be my second year attending and providing photography. If you weren’t there last year, it’s much like prom photos, just classier! This year should prove to be better with a new backdrop and the red chairs as a prop! We’ll also have a new image viewing set-up with a larger screen to make photo selection easier!
This year we are also continuing with what I think is a great benefit for everyone! 50% of all earnings from the event will be donated to the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. Last year pitched in a little extra to make it to the $500 donation. I’d like to challenge everyone out there to make this year’s even bigger!
I look forward to seeing everyone there!!

Miss Boo in The Red Chair
• I’ve been spending the past few weeks, in my nonexistent free time, really churning away at creating this new site and integrating the blog. I had to learn a lot of new programing and a few new programs, but, in the end it is all worth it. Sometime next year I’ll be integrating the client galleries and print ordering as well. Until then I still have quite a bit behind-the-scene stuff to do.
• I’m still trying to decide whether or not to move some of the old blog posts over. If I do, it’ll have to be done manually, which is a lot of time and work. I’ll won’t be deleting the old blog, I just won’t be updating it anymore.
• I still have several events and sessions to catch up on and will hopefully be doing that over the next month. I’ve been incorporating some new styles and techniques and it’s really making for some wonderful photos. If you’ve been keeping up with my work over the last few years, you’ll see a lot of grown and development!
Stay In Focus!

My new location portrait option:
THE RED CHAIR!!
This item would be great for individual or family portraits and the the uses are limited only by our imaginations: in the middle of a field, in the woods, on a dirt road, in an alley. I actually have two of them so larger families (greater than 6) are no problem.
below is a sample image taken in a small park just off the greenway here in Cheyenne.
If you’re interested in some family portraits, Give me a call(307-631-2719) or drop me an e-mail (Keith@shutter-Vision.com) and we can make an appointment. Now is the perfect time for photos as the holiday season is coming up and you’ve got a long list of christmas cards to send out! Which leads me to the next post…
